“ I ate my fair share of shabu and this spot tops all. Everything from the service to the food...and at such a reasonable price, I will drive from the SGV to Cerritos just for this. Though we had to wait for an hour on a Saturday night, it was worth it. The meat quality is consistent and the self-serve veggies/seafood/etc are all fresh. I chose the House broth and my bf got the sukiyaki--both are very delicious. House broth had a bit of sweetness but it was perfect for my meat. Our server was very friendly and attentive. I did not catch her name but she came by to check up on us when we ran low on the meat. The meat also came out super fast. Interior is huge, and they got their SOP down so their patron turnover rate is high. Plus, they play kpop :) Tip: skip the appetizers and just load up on the meat. ”
“ It was our first time trying any kind of shabu shabu, and this place was recommended by a friend. We went for lunch so the meat selection was more limited (which was fine since we usually get pork belly anywhere we go and that was available). The broths were absolutely delicious and the add in options let us both make exactly what we wanted. The wait wasn't too long around 12:30 for 2 but definitely check the waitlist before going. We sat on the patio and the weather was perfect for an outdoor (not that the weather is a reflection on the restaurant but the patio was nice and shaded). Highly recommend! ”
“ the food is good! such a great value and a lot of veggies, noodles, and meats to add! the staff are super speedy and attentive. like they're zooming around grabbing empty plates and refilling water and you'll barely even notice. they're like a well oiled machine and just so efficient! we love every person we've had, but a special shoutout to aldo! we prefer sitting on the patio because it can get a bit noisy inside. but inside is nice if there's a game on or something. broth is our go to AYCE shabu place! make sure to join the waitlist especially on an evening because the wait can be pretty long some days. ”
“ The food that's offered are at the booths and they offered a wide variety of meats and veggies! The service was amazing! Thank you Kevin for treating my friends and myself with amazing service! Kevin consistently helped us and restocked us with meat and water whenever he walked by! The ambiance for the place is pretty noisy but you can still get to talk to your friends! There was no wait time when we came and tip the 90 min starts once you sit down! There are restrooms in this restaurant as well! ”
“ Broth is my favorite All-You-Can-Eat shabu-shabu restaurant. It is across the street from the Cerritos Mall on the north side. You can dine inside but they also have a good sized outdoor patio when the weather is nice or you don't want to wait to eat inside. It is often very busy and I highly recommend using their Yelp live waitlist. They have five different broths that you order or mix for your base. I always get the spicy miso which is only mildly spicy and I always add garlic, jalapeno, and a few hot drops to add flavor and kick up the heat a notch. There are eight premium meats you can order and my favorites are the beef toro, pork belly, flat iron steak, and lamb. They have an extensive sauce bar with jalapeno, garlic, ponzu sauce, Asian chili sauce, green onion, radish, lemons, and hot drops. They also have several appetizers that you can order off the menu which are prepared in the kitchen and brought to your table. I sometimes order the fried gyoza since it is nice and crunchy versus the gyoza in the buffet which you boil yourself. The buffet for sides is huge and has a ton of different items including various seafood, noodles, eggs, and veggies. All of the servers are friendly and attentive but Nicole is our favorite and we always try to sit in her section if she's working. Manager JC is also great and stops by the table to make sure everything is good and runs the very busy front desk efficiently. For $29.99 per person for all you cat eat, this is an incredible bargain for great shabu-shabu with quality ingredients. ”
“ Best shabu/hot pot place by a long shot. All you can eat buffet style. Lunch menu is even cheaper. The service is amazing. Just be prepared for a long wait time at peak hours. Make sure to check into the wait list through yelp accordingly. ”
“ The food was amazing and the energy from our server step bro was amazing. The meat he gave us was so tender and juicy I just want him to give me more meat ”
“ Amazing price and quick service, even for a busy Saturday lunch we got in after about 20 min! We were welcomed in and given a quick rundown of the system and menu. Guests are offered a selection of 8 quality meats, with a maximum of 12 plates ordered per round over the course of a 90-minute stay. The all-you-can-eat sides and sauce bar had a wide variety of seafood, vegetables, sides, and even ramen noodles perfect for ending the hot pot. Their soy karaage was so savory with the perfect amount of crunch, and our party really enjoyed each appetizer fried to perfection. Our server was very attentive and accommodating throughout our whole meal, checking in more than a few times if we needed anything or refills of water and broth. Would love to come here again, everyone really enjoyed the experience and food! ”
“ Broth is my favorite all you can eat shabu shabu spot!! The wait is usually at least 45 min in my experience, and it's quite a drive for me, but so worth it. The broth, of course, is so rich in flavor and delicious. I love the unlimited self-serve topping bar, they all taste so good in the soup. And there are a lot of meat + side options that are all delicious. I particularly like the soju capri sun. The blue one tastes like a pina colada! I do not like alcohol at all, and can always taste it when others say they can't, but in this drink I truly can't taste it. ”
“ If the best hotpot shabu shabu was an award this place has it! Meat options and quality blew our family away. Was fun to try new things like all the karaage (Japanese fried chicken) options! Literally all chef's kiss! Service was top notch with fast service and helpful staff. Restuarant was clean. Lots of families and big parties. Indoor and outdoor seating (heaters outside too) ”
